Description: Vintage Mid Century Whimsical Pot Bellied Bird Sculpture, Possibly Dora De Larios Pottery. I have had this bird for some years and it is a whimsical bird like creature with a hat, sculpted in a style that reminds me of Mexican pottery. The style of the piece is very similar to Dora De Larios, and it is incised DLD, the same initials (but with the L being the largest letter), but I have no way of confirming that it is indeed by her. (And if it was definitely by her, this piece would be listed for $500+). The piece measures 12cm tall x 8cm at widest point. Condition is excellent, no damage.
