Description: Vintage Military Pith Safari Hard Shell Sun Hat / Helmet, with an Adjustable Leather Liner, It also has a chin strap. This was my Father-in-law's hat. He was a US. Army MP who was at the WWII War Crime Trials that were held at Nuremburg Germany in the late 1940's to early 1950's. I'm not sure if its from that era or not, it could be from the Vietnam War era where his Brother served. Unfortunately they both have passed long ago.
