Description: From a local collection, here is an older carved wood birthing chair, a smaller piece that was probably a souvenir or display piece. Two-piece design, hard wood with a dark finish, depicting two figures. Both pieces are marked 71, possibly the date it was made. Stands about 5" tall as normally displayed, about 4" across. Very nice condition with minimal age and wear, just some old display dust in the nooks and crannies. A neat, unusual piece, hope it fits your collection. Please check out all of the photos above.
