Description: Mona Teller was born in 1960 to the Pueblo of Isleta, has been crafting exquisite clay sculptures and pottery since she was 22 years old. It was under the tutelage of her mother, Stella Teller, and sister, Lynette Teller, both of whom are also famed sculptures, that Mona developed and honed her skills. Using natural pigments she gathers from her own pueblo, Mona's work focuses on storytellers, nativities, animals, and small children at play.
