Description: Here we have a nice Vintage MONARCH FINER FOODS GLASS JAR which is Embossed with a Lions Head and has a red tin cover. Great farmhouse appeal! This item is in used vintage condition. The cover shows signs of rust, the red paint is chipped in places and there could possibly be a ding or so which I may not see. The cover works to twist on and off and if I was to keep this item I would add a touch of oil on the inside rim for easier movement. There are no cracks, chips or discolor stains to the glass. The bottom side of the glass shows number C1565. See photo for branding on the bottom. There are signs of use and age and scratches, original, as found and not restored.
