Description: Vintage pasta bowl crafted at the Montana Earth Pottery studio in February, 2005. The potter's initial is on the bowl but I can't quite make it out. This is a shallow bowl, 9 7/8" wide and 1.5" deep, almost a plate but not quite flat enough. This bowl makes an excellent serving dish for hot or cold foods. It weighs 1.5 pounds. The vast Montana sky is rendered in a dark teal blue/green glaze with white clouds over snow capped mountains. In the foreground a grizzly bear ambles through grassland silhouetted against a warm tan glaze. The entire piece was designed and executed in the studio from local clays and fired with original glazes. Bring some Big Sky Country into your home. I've also listed a dinner plate and a large chop plate in this same line but with different animals. Happy to combine orders to save on shipping.
