Description: Up for sale is a beautiful vintage set of salt and pepper shakers depicting a Christmas girl holding a pine tree while sitting on a candy cane. Both shakers have the silver metallic Napco Japan label and a date of 1959 on the bottom. The girl is about 3 1/2” high and the candy cane is about 4 1/2” long. Her face is so delicately painted and detailed and the Christmas colors are bright and with gold shiny stars. Included is what is believed to be the original box that the set came in. As normal for 60+ year old Christmas items from this era, there are paint flecks and pops, crazing, uneven painting, and rough unglazed bottoms. The front bottom of her dress is bumpy but it appears to be an under the glaze texture. The photos are the best depiction of the condition of these items.
