Description: Very rare early NASA Space Shuttle collectible coffee mug. This mug features the Space Shuttle on the "GSS Suggestion Program" logo with the words: "Safety, Savings, and Quality." The GSS program was the Ground Support Program that was associated with Martin Marietta's work on the Space Shuttle program and the SLC-6 launch site at Vandenberg Air Force Base (now Space Force) from 1979 to 1986. The Space Shuttle Launch Program was abandoned at Vandenberg, largely due to the Challenger disaster. Please see photos as they are part of the description.
