Description: DESCRIPTION: Nice, small Maricopa Indian pottery bowl from Arizona. It is unsigned - prior to 1940 Maricopa pottery was not signed, so this was likely made before that. The bowl measures 1 3/8" tall and also about 2 1/2" wide around the middle. It features a burnished red body with an attractive hand painted design in black around a slightly lobed top opening. There are a few little nibbles on the top rim and a couple of little flakes in the red on the sides (minor, but see pictures). No cracks.
