Description: Vintage Navy Military Ship Masthead Navigational Light Brass Salvaged 225 Degree Sold as is - untested. Measures approx. 5"H as shown in the first photo. Weighs 2lbs 2.3oz. Likely made of brass or bronze and chromed (it is not magnetic). Found in a large estate of a former military diver who salvaged all sorts of nautical items in the Boston, MA. area. I believe this is a navigational light that would have gone on the top of the Mast, facing toward the bow. The lens would be visible roughly 225 degrees based on the angle, and is clear.
