It features a double ended wooden form with stretched rawhide over the surfaces and body. ITEM DETAILS: Approximate weight is 2 lbs 8 ozsMeasures approximately 6" x 6" x 15"Condition: In AS-IS vintage handmade pre-owned used condition with wear including a hole in the center of the smaller end pad, stains, discoloring, scratches, scuffing, abrasions, the rawhide has stiffened, it would have originally included an adjustable rawhide strap that went around the user's body but it is missing, the metal rings are rusted, patina, tarnish, loose fibers/lent, quite a bit of staining on all of the rawhide, filled in areas on the wood form, cracks/cracking, chips, splintering, gouge marks, the end pads are worn with scratches/abrasions/scuffing/gouges/dents, there is what appears to be some sort of putty/residue or gum stuck to the side that I didn't try to remove, and overall heavy wear from age, use and handling. I DO NOT know if it is functional in it's current form but it does make sound when the larger end is tapped on.
