Description: These are a rare find, the 1989-1999, NJ Motor Vehicle Services inspection cards. These cards, the Bane of every motorist in New Jersey who went to the yearly inspection visit before the Enhanced Inspection came along in 2000. On the card includes the list of every thing that the examiner would/could fail your automobile with. There is a marking for a plastic windshield on the left, for those cars that had the experimental plastic windshields in the 80’s. It was hit with the hole punch to ensure that the windshield wouldn’t be scraped, when changing the inspection sticker. The headlight and Brake reading boxes are visible. The exhaust boxes indicate the catalytic converter tampering box. The reverse side of the card show the record of inspection, comments and miscellaneous. These cards have “DC” marking on them, indicating that they were used at the Delanco location. All cards have control numbers in red at the top right. $6 for three and that includes postage in the lower 48 states. 6 Bucks can buy you a coffee and buttered roll and a unique piece of history.
