Description: For Sale is a Vintage (NLC 29) National Lumber Company Date Nail from 1929. It looks as the date nails are made of copper. This nail measures 1 3/8” long and the head of the nail has a diameter of approximately 1”, though the head is not completely round. The letters and numbers are stamped into the metal. The initials NLC are on top and the year 29 is on the bottom. The date nails were nailed into utility poles and crossties. Please look at the photos for the condition of the date nail.
