Description: Noblet 40 Bb Wood Clarinet - made in Paris in 1964 This instrument has been sanitized and serviced by a local music repair shop where pads and corks were replaced as needed and keys were polished. The instrument was then reassembled to factory specifications and play tested. This instrument is ready to play as is and includes 3 mouthpieces. One mouthpiece is the original Noblet Paris mouthpiece, two do not have any engraving or markings on them but one of them says made in Italy. Serial # 42089 Service performed: -Remove all keys, clean body and bore -Clean and level tone holes -Keys cleaned and polished -Pads and corks were replaced as needed -Wood has been inspected for cracks (none present) and oiled -Joint fitting tested -Leak and play tested after reassembly Comes with: -Original case which is functional but shows some wear -3 mouthpieces including original Noblet mouthpiece -Ligatures and caps -Clarinet lyre There are other listings that are priced less because they are not serviced or just for parts. Many can present problems which will need to be fixed before being ready to play. This clarinet is clean, serviced, and ready to play.
