Description: You are buying a VINTAGE 1978 OVATION ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC GUITAR MODEL 1657-7 THE ANNIVERSARY OVATION. The guitar is in excellent original condition. I have owned this guitar since December of 1978 when it was purchased from Gracin's Pro Sound in Hempstead NY. It served me very well for a few years of music College and then went into the case which and has always been stored in a smoke free environment since. This is the early version of this model with the carved truss rod cover and bridge. Electronics have been check with a fresh battery and all is working as it did when new. There are 3 small light dings on the top. See pics. The middle strip of wood on the back of the 5 piece V shaped neck has raised ever so slightly (a couple of 1000of an inch maybe) over the years so you do slightly feel it on the middle of the neck. Other than that the action is perfect and set up to play from one end to the other with no buzzing. Please view photos and email questions before buying. Payment is due upon purchase.
