Description: Vintage Owl Lamps Chalkware Ceramic Set Of 2 NO SHADE. This is a pair of true vintage Owl shaped table lamps MINUS THE SHADES. These are in good preowned condition- do show signs of wear/use due to age, but overall still look great. I'm not sure exactly what they are made of, but my best guess would be some kind of chalkware or ceramic. They feel very well made, and do have a little weight to them. It does look like it may have been handcrafted or hand painted maybe, but again I cant say for sure. Signs of wear include: wear to the paint in spots, very minor dings, a chip out of the back of one of the owls ears, one lamp is missing the velvet piece on the bottom showing the inside of the lamp underneath. (Does not affect how it sits at all.) Both lamps are still in good working order, and honestly I think their minor imperfections only add to the gorgeous character they have! These would be perfect in a log cabin, man cave, or even just in your wilderness/wildlife/or Farmhouse themed homes. Such a unique set. Eyes are carved out to make them look more real, and they really do wow in the lifelike/realness department.
