The Hubley Company was located in Lancaster, PA about 25 miles from my home so I come in contact with a good number of their cast iron bookends and doorstops. From the description of these bookends found in my Hubley book this is how it’s listed – No. 361 – Boston Bull. The model of a bench champion, in the alert position of a good show dog. Width 5 1/2”, height 5”. These are hard to find as a pair and I believe they are from the 1930’s. These have loss of paint as seen and one is missing felt on its base.
