From a local estate, I think these are prints and NOT cut paper silhouettes of a Colonial man and woman ala George and Martha Washington. The frames are painted black with a thin metallic gold band around the inner edge and decorative brass hangers on top. Some very slight foxing on the paper, some slight surface wear to the frames.
