Description: You are buying the fountain pen that you see in the photos. Genuine vintage USA made Parker "51"!! PLEASE look at the pictures!! The barrel has a 3/4" hairline crack towards the back end. It doesn't appear to be in any danger of splitting and, to be honest, I did not even see it until I took photographs under my bright lights. The pen needs a good cleaning. I did not fill it with ink - I do not know the condition of the bladder, unfortunately. Nib tip looks good. This pen is sold as a "project" pen - besides the crack I do not see any obvious damage. The cap fits nicely and it is not dented anywhere. Please look closely at the pictures and ask questions if you need to. The body is a very very deep amethyst purple color - unless you are looking at it in a bright light, it looks sort of black. dr
