Description: This listing is for a vintage headboard or over the bed reading lamp as shown. This lamp has a metal base with a pink (more a salmon pink that shabby chic pink--the first picture is an accurate representation of the true color--the close up pictures have a purple tint which doesn't show up in person) plastic shade which slips over the base. The light works with a pull chain and it has been tested and works as it should. The cord is very stiff and the plug is not polarized, so I would recommend rewiring it. There are no loops on the base to slip over the top of the headboard so you would need to mount this on the wall. The shade is in good condition with no cracks or warping or scorching. There is a white spot on the top of the shade--not sure if that's from use and wear or a manufacturing mark. There is one small brown spot on the inside of the shade under the white marks. The base and socket have some surface scratches. This light measures 8 1/4" wide by 4" deep by 3 7/8" tall. Zoom in on the pictures for more detail.
