Description: This guy has spent many years in my bookcase. Occasionally, I get would get up and put some change in it. (Hey, I don’t want to get a ticket, I am parked in my easy chair quite a lot). This is the Park-O-Meter Model S. It takes nickels, dimes and quarters. You get 15 minutes for a nickel, 30 minutes for a dime and 1 hour 15 minutes for a quarter. It has a 3-hour limit. I have put nickels, dimes and quarters in it and it works. I am not guaranteeing accuracy, we are just having fun with this. I do not have the keys, but the top key is available on ebay through other sellers and the bottom is unlocked. The front plastic window does have spider webbing. (Please see photos for condition) Meter does carry a warning that Police Will Not Turn Handle. They will however, happily give you a ticket if you don’t turn the handle. So watch yourself, no fooling around! The black wooden base that is visible in some pictures does not come with this meter.
