Description: For sale, a wonderful find! Vintage dated and signed primitive all wool strips hooked rug table top size. It is signed "Woodson 05" so now twenty years Old! Adorable big tom cat would caught the mouse! The cat is standing on the little mouse's tail. His expression is sweet! Love the dyed colors used, they just blend wonderfully together. It looks like a old Victorian style and color rug that the Big Tom Cat is sitting on. The back is all hand stitched also. It was never used on the floor, only ever placed on a farm table top. It is 11" wide x 14" long. I have shown photos of front and back of the hooked rug table topper. The craftsmanship is wonderful, so much details to each hook! It is in excellent used condition. The hand hooked rugs are getting harder and harder to find, love hand made items! I will be listing more vintage hand hooked primitive folk art rugs - table toppers and wall hangings on ebay soon!
