Description: I absolutely love this pattern and that's why I was willing to put the work into restoring it. But then I starting putting pins (you can see them in the photos) everywhere that needed sewing and decided it was beyond me. At least until I had more time. So maybe there is someone out there that could use the blocks or fabric or would like to restore it. Out of 16 blocks only 7 don't need restoring. I think you'll need a bit of antique fabric to fully restore this. I was thinking of buying a shirting fabric or some indigo fabric and use that to redo some of the pieces that need replacing. Some things can be resewn but some parts are better off with new (vintage) fabric. I think it's the quality of the fabric that makes the difference. The blocks that need help have more delicate fabrics in them. But if you have some time this could be gorgeous fully restored and quilted. Likely from around 1900. 84 by 94 inches. Mostly handsewn but some blocks have some machine stitching.
