Description: This Art Deco style candlestick is part of the Rosheim pattern began production by Rene Lalique in the 1930's. Featuring clear glass and flat plinths, where the etched signature "R Lalique" can be found along one edge, seven concentric tiers of gradually increasing size create a ridged cone, looking much like an inverted industrial glass insulator for electrical lines. Measuring 2 7/8" (7.3025 cm) tall with 2 3/4" (7.3025 cm) square bases, these have a low and subtle profile which looks great on a modern table with clean lines. Turning them upside down, they become little display plinths for hors d'oeuvre, small pastry or desserts. In 1945, after Rene Lalique passed away all production items were signed just "Lalique", so this was made before that time. In very good condition, three individual candlesticks are initially offered with very few minor manufacturing bubbles in the glass to distinguish them apart, most notably in the plinth. More photos of each one available on request. Add this Art Deco candlestick to your table today!
