Vintage Radius No 1.S:OR Primus Kerosene Stove. Fully Refurbished. Pre 1928.

Description: Vintage Radius No 1 S:OR fitted with silent burner. Has rare pre 1928 shooting star markings on tank and burner cap. A rare survival. It has a few dings and scratches as befits it's age but it works well and looks great. Fully restored and not just polished with fully operational pump, non return valve and roarer burner. It has been stripped ,reassembled and pressure tested with new seals. The pan ring has been finished with heat resistant stove paint. The burner has been cleaned and polished as has the spirit cup. It is in virtually as new condition. The tank is marked nicely in various languages and scripts along with the Swedish Radius shooting star markings. The markings place it pre 1938 manufacture. The stove has been ultrasonically cleaned inside and out . It has received a five stage buffing process and polished to a mirror shine. All deposits have been removed. The NRV and pump completely rebuilt. It readily polishes to a golden shine. All the hard work has been done. A beautiful piece of Swedish workmanship for you to enjoy. Perfect for camping , travel or picnics or generally off grid living. A great item for decoration also in kitchen, bar , lounge or man cave. Restoration of these involves more than a wipe with brass polish. This has had a complete rebuild from scratch. This has had hours of work done on it. Cleaning starts with all parts ultrasonically cleaned. Then a chemical treatment is applied followed by a five stage buffing process. All carbon deposits internally and externally are removed in the process and a mirror shine given to the brass The original asbestos burner washer is removed and replaced as is the filler seal. Remember that you get what you pay for. Don't pass up this rare survival. Being sold as a collectible in working condition. It has an old repair around the pump housing which I have tidied up.
