Description: For your consideration: Up for sale, we have a really nice...and somewhat rare to find...Vintage Ram FX2 Forged Cavity Back 3 iron. This club is 39 inches long, weighs 14 ounces, and features a Ram/Apollo Ram FX Series Regular Flex steel shaft, and a Ram X Grip rubber grip. The "Down Low"... This great old Ram FX2 is a wonderful looking, feeling, and playing forged cavity back iron. The FX2 came from the early days of forged cavity back iron design, and I think these were a really great looking and playing design that Ram came up with. I especially like the very rounded heel of the club which really helps prevent digging in on uneven lies, and in fact makes the club much easier get a good set up on an uneven lie. To me...this club feels just a wee little bit head heavy in it's overall balance, so if you really like to feel your clubhead in your swing, I think this club will feel really good to you.
