Description: This is a charming bright yellow cookie jar in the shape of a Dutch girl in a big, round skirt. Her pointed hat serves as a handle and she's holding up the edge of her vest which defines the top half of the piece. It appears to be hand painted with a scalloped design on her curved apron. It is nicely textured, and heavily glazed. The piece measures just under 11" tall, and is 7" from side to side. "Red Wing, USA" is impressed on the bottom. The condition of this vintage cookie jar is excellent! It has very light crazing barely detectable with a magnifying glass. The bottom has a few light brown spots the same color as the trim, but no chips or cracks. It has been well cared for, and displays beautifully! Thank you for your interest in my item!
