Description: This is just about as perfect an example of this toy I've seen. The box is the original red ,white and black color scheme, and is in 9.5 condition. There is some marking from the store where it was purchased on 1 end. The colors are vibrant and look new.The tank is in superb condition, runs forward and reverse on 2 D batteries. The cannon fires and ejects the brass(occasionally the brass gets hung up at the ejection hole). The projectiles are in the "shoot your eye out" category and will travel over 15'. The treads are supple and have a some spots from my playing with it outside. There is 1 projectile and brass jacket missing. The forward/reverse switch needs a "jiggle" to stay engaged sometimes.Overall, between the condition of the original box and the tank, this is a 9.5, even with the missing projectile and brass.If you look this toy up on eBay, you'll find many being sold for parts.I have videos of the tank running in forward and reverse and will attempt to send those to you if you message me through eBay.On Jun-24-24 at 20:48:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone should bid on this near perfect classic piece of Americana.
