Description: Vintage Royal Doulton "Little Boy Blue" (HN 3035) figurine from The Nursery Rhyme Collection (Series 2) from 1983 and designed by Adrian Hughes. The figurine is based on a traditional English nursery rhyme of the same name dating back to the 16th century and first published in 1744. The figurine is handmade and hand decorated on fine bone china in England between 1984 and 1987. Little Boy Blue is dressed in a white shirt and blue pants and vest. He is leaning on a tree trunk on a field of green grass blowing his yellow horn. The figurine is backstamped with the Royal Doulton stamp, the artist signature and a copyright, Royal Doulton Tableware LTD. 1983. The figurine is approximately 8 inches tall, 6 inches long, 4 7/8 inches wide and weighs 21.5 ounces (608 grams). The “Little Boy Blue” figurine is pre-owned/used but in excellent condition (see photos for more detail). There are no chips or scratches.
