Description: Here is a beautiful vintage Russian hand painted lacquer trinket or pill box. On the lid it has the image of a bird and flowers, some parts of the image look like mother of pearl but it isn't it is actually a silver shimmer paint. On the bottom it is marked "Made in USSR" and I think it is also signed and numbered (see photo 6). It comes with it's original paperwork which states it was made at the Fedoskino Factory (I took a picture and used Google translate). It measures 2 3/8 inch across the top diameter and a little over 1/2 inch high.
