Description: Beautifully crafted vintage handmade powder horn with scrimshawed wolf and thistle! This horn is in great condition and was very well built. It features a gorgeous depiction of a wolf hand done! Good detail, a talented scrimshander. It was made in 1989. On the opposite side it has a depiction of a thistle. The end cap features a wood turned acorn and the spout has a nicely turned wooden plug. The horn is in great condition with only a few small bug bites that don’t go through. It still has the leather strap to hang it from. This horn is totals complete and ready to be used at a rendezvous, reenactment, or hunting with muzzleloaders!!
