This is a very pretty Southeast Native American Round with Star Decoration Basketry Trivet. It is most likely from the Seminole or Coushatta tribes. We have seen similarly made baskets listed as both so it is difficult to completely determine which tribe it is. It has a nice original patina which really adds to the look of the basketry trivet. Just the way you want to find your Native American basketry items. We have a total of 4 of these which we purchased together. THIS AUCTION IS FOR 1 Only. It measures approx 6" in diameter - each one may be very slightly different but more than likely made by the same person as these were purchased together. It is a beautiful trivet.
