Our items range in age from 1950 to 1990. It has remained untouched for an impressive span of 18-75 years. Most of our items are still sealed with the original tape, or have been carefully inspected to ensure they are in PRISTINE AND IMMACULATE condition, despite any aging or discoloration of the box.We do not proactively test our items, but will be happy to perform a power-on test upon request.We do not test cassette tape, VHS, BETA, 8-Track functionality due to probable belt needs. Belts dry out after years of un-use and, similarly to cars, need to be replaced to work properly. We recommend replacing any belts before using a unit that requires them (8-track, cassette, BETA, VHS) to ensure smooth playing.In rare cases, we also offer "second" inventory items, open box items, or items that need repair, but may be the perfect prop!
