Please note that the screen is divided into two rectangular areas. The top of the left area can display faint characters (see pictures of LCD) . Using the contrast control (located on the right side), you can make the upper left area display characters that are clearer to see. This action also makes the right display area a bit darker but does not impede viewing the LCD as a whole. The auction includes: · The Sharp PC-E500S with 16K RAM card installed. To use the memory in that card, use the command MEM$="S2" in non-programming BASIC mode. The protective cover comes from a custom German version of the calculator. The writings inside the cover are in German and are related to some custom application. Buyer should ignore the writings and just use the cover to protect the calculator. · Owner’s Manual (in Japanese) in very good condition.
