Description: Vintage Ship Stern Navigational Light Brass Salvaged 135 Degree Clear Lens Sold as is - untested. Measures approx. 4 1/8"H as shown in the first photo. Weighs 2lbs 2.1oz. Likely made of brass or bronze (it is not magnetic). Possibly military but not sure. Manufactured by Modern Metal Mfg. Co. New York, NY. Found in a large estate of a former military diver who salvaged all sorts of nautical items in the Boston, MA. area. I believe this is a navigational light that would have gone on the stern.
