The lamp features a pair of Siamese cats and is a wonderful collectible. TV table lamps were very popular in the 1950s. The idea was TV lamps kept your family from damaging their eyes from watching too much TV. The lamp would diffuse the light and keep people from damaging their vision. There is a bulb behind the lamp that creates a silhouette and light glow. In very good condition. It has been tested and works. The cord is approximately 72 inches long. Lamp is approximately 12 1/2 inches tall x 12 inches wide. This is a vintage ceramic lamp with crazing from age. No chips or crack or damages. One has the blue eyes and the other does not.
