Description: Wonderful chess set pieces. board not included. Constructed of soldered copper and silver plated, then one half of those was darkly tarnished black leaving the heads of the bishops silver. I dont know the age of this set. The pieces have plastic bases with a weight in the plastic base. There are a few missing bases and a few chipped bases. The pieces are heavy enough for comfortable play even without the bases and I think they look better without the bases, so I would just pop the rest of the bases off and use the set without them. Bases remove easily. Kings are 3 3/8 inches tall. I have 100% positive feedback on sales and I honor returns, even if you just change your mind about wanting the item. If you need to return an item due to my error, I will cover shipping both ways, but if you return an item just because you no longer want it, then I ask that you cover shipping.
