Previously this damage was covered with duct tape and worked fairly well. The main plastic cover over the motor is still in very good condition with some scratches from use This vacuum would be great for display, stage prop or occasional use For this vacuum the handle does not disassemble in pieces nor separated from the vacuum base. Inside the cord rewind compartment the handle components are securely riveted together from the original factory production. The vacuum will have to be shipped fully assembled.
