Description: Item: Original small private snapshot photo of a native village near Cairo. There are five cylindrical structures which may be ovens, the building could be a bakery. The two boys are standing either side of an ancient looking tiller or plough, with a wooden seat and circular, steel, blades. The boy on the left could be whistling. This photograph came from a soldier's WWII album. The album was dated 1943 but some of the photographs in it may be earlier, or a little later. Size: 2.5 x 3.5 inches / 6.25 x 8.5 cm. approx. I have photographed it against a 1 inch / 2.5 cm grid so that the size can be seen. Condition: Good condition, some ink on the back, please view scans.
