Description: Vintage Lite Ind. Firefighter Aluminized Proximity Jacket Size Small. We purchased this jacket from an elderly lady in Northern Maine. This belonged to her father who passed away 60 years ago. He was a ranger for the NFS and fought many forest fires in the 1950's in the Western U.S. states. What makes this jacket especially nice is the "Smokey the Bear" he painted on the back to personalize it. This would be a super addition to any Smokey Bear or vintage firefighting collection. As shown, there is a light tear across the upper back. This has been repaired on the inside with some type of green tape as is also shown.
