Description: Spanish Dance Sheet Music for Piano Solo - Early Advancedby Anton BilottiFischer, 1925, 5 pages Condition as shown in photos. Slight shelf wear. No markings. A gratifying solo to learn and perform and just as exciting for listeners. From Bach Cantatas: The American pianist and composer, Anton Bilotti (1906 - 1963), was the son of Italian immigrants. He developed an exceptional talent for the piano as a child and was sent to study at the Naples Conservatory of Music. He was there from 1915 to 1921 and later studied in Paris with Busoni, Ravel, and de Pachmann. Anton Bilotti made his piano debut at Carnegie Hall in 1921 and later performed with all the leading orchestras throughout the USA and Europe. Besides other piano compositions, Anton Bilotti wrote a symphony, a violin concerto, a poem for saxophone and orchestra, and quintet for piano and strings, and a suite for string quartet. His pieces are well written, and he sustains a South American mood throughout. Each composition offers its own personality. They are imaginative, and very expressive. Technically suited to late intermediate and advanced students, they are most appealing to teens. We are a small non-profit in Birmingham, Alabama. We sell donated sheet music and method books that we cannot use in our Scrollworks program at this time.
