Description: Vintage 1978 Arrividerci Yamato Deluxe Roman Album Magazine Book from Japan! The magazine book (also known as a mook) features a mix of full color and black & white images. The Magazine contains tons of Japanese language articles on the production of the original anime series and the 1978 sequel film. The magazine features tons of extra goodies including a poster featuring Kodai / Derek and Yuki / Nova. Also included are some stickers and cards featuring scenes from the movie, prominent characters, and their voice actors! Arrividerci Yamato film was a sequel to the 1974 anime series and is controversial in the fan community for its ending where the majority of the characters died. The film was so poorly received that a third film, Be Forever Yamato, was created to retcon this ending. The magazine book measures approximately 11 1/2" x 8". The book does shows some wear, with some tears on the silver dust jacket. Space Battleship Yamato was created by Leiji Matsumoto, who also created Galaxy Express 999, Gun Frontier, Captain Harlock / Captain Albator, Daft Punk's Interstella 5555 and more!
