Description: Great Vintage Stubben Seigfred Krefeld # 1894 Made in GERMANY I have had this saddle since 1964!I rode in it for many years and even won Jumper Champion of Alabama in it. These older Stubbens have a very good reputation for being well made and for lasting a long time . You can see that it is an older saddle and has scuffs and marks that come with age and wear. For its age, it’s in pretty good shape but the leather surface has worn areas. The squede knee flaps are worn, but its sound and a great saddle. The cosmetic appearance does not hamper its function, and a new one would cost quite alot.With a good oiling and conditioning , it could have many more years of use It is comfortable and has Suede knee rolls. In about 1976 we had completely new underneath leather padding ad it was never used after that.It comes with stirrups a girth for medium sized horse( my horse was 15.3 hands tall) The Saddle is located in Montgomery Alabama 36104 zip Can be picked up locally It was a perfect size saddle for me when I was 17 years old-Im 5’7” and although I dont know its tree size I assume it is 16.5-17” See measurements that I took: Size: 34” wide x 26”The Brass tag says:Stubben Krefeld 1894 ReitausustungenMade in Germany saddle seat 17" long19" with curveseat to stirrups 18"26 long x 34 " wide x 11" highThe Stubben Saddle is heirloom saddle -known for its heritage of quality .
