Description: A 'proper' pair of mitts from the Old School...still used and loved by a great many, myself included. The palms are made of a superb fine leather, with a suede finish to the inside, and a smooth finish to the outside with a padded centrepiece for comfort. The rear is a traditional crochet, of a fairly coarse weave for maximum ventilation, and there is velcro closure. My favourite aspect of these is the open oval to the rear: although obviously designed for ventilation and comfort, they offered the other benefit of providing a proper 'Cyclists Tan'...Back in the day, you could always spot a fellow cyclist by those telltale suntanned ovals on the back of their hands! These are suitable for practically any form of cycling. If you are of a 'certain vintage' (like myself!), then here's your chance to replace those horrible lycra things you've been using! And if you're a young whippersnapper who has never worn them before, try 'em...you might be surprised...
