Description: I inherited a large amount of vintage gloves from my Great Aunt Leanor who passed away in the mid 80's. In all the 88 pairs of gloves I have, these are very special. I think they must have been a favorite of her as well because many of the gloves I have are unworn or worn very little. These gloves were definitely well loved and deservedly so because they are adorable. I was able to take good photos that I think document the rubbing/wear, and stains very well. The majority of the wear and grime is on the palm side, the top side is in quite good condition. Please check the photos carefully as they are more descriptive than anything I can write! They are made of a sturdy suede, and because they are Hermes it is a very nice quality. Beautifully crafted and stitched, with all the stitches sturdy and intact. The stitches on the "bow" detail is a bit looser but still very much intact. The gloves for sure still have lots of life left in them. The inside is marked as "Made in France" and size 6 1/2, they were made for I.Magnin. Measuring them they do seem to measure true to the size of 6 1/2. My best guess in that these are from the 1920's or 30's but haven't had much luck in figuring out how to date Hermes. I have off and on searched Hermes gloves similar to these over the last year and have never seen another pair like them, so I think they are truly unique and rare. I wish I had smaller hands to be able to enjoy these exceptional gloves.
