With the skills and experience gained the company introduced the ‘Technos' brand as of 1924 MID-1960s The SKY DIVER is now a sought-after, but increasingly hard to find, vintage Divers Watch, which shares many components with the Polerouter-Sub, Titus Calypso Diver etc. All Original 38mm Stainless Steel case Using the same water-tight case construction as used in the Universal Genève Polerouter Sub. Noted for its case design with subtle slight twisted lugs and in amazing condition for this type of watch. Large Original Technos signed Screw-Down Crown60-minute bi-directional Rotating Aluminium Bezel The screw-on case back design is decorated with the Technos crest. Black Gilt Tritium Dial Large Hour markers are arranged as wedge-shaped three-dimensional indices on the gilt dial for good visibility Red numbered Date wheel Original hands The lume on the Original thick handset and hour markers have developed a mellow and consistent creamy/beige patina. Double-Pointed sweep Seconds Hand This Sky-Diver uses the legendary High grade ETA Calibre 2472 30 Jewel, fully automatic movement to great effect. Having undergone a recent full service by a world renowned watchmaker; The service starts with a total strip-down of every component before being ultra-sonically cleaned and then re-built with a new main spring & using the correct lubricants. New gaskets, seals and a new Crystal have also been fitted (+ the bezel spring ) Finally the movement is adjusted and regulated. This is not a quick or cheap process ! The movement auto-winds smoothly and runs with a stunning Amplitude of 306 degrees ! Accuracy measured at + 2 secs/day with a power reserve tested at Over 43 hours - very capable of Chronometer grade performance Comes complete with the service invoice/warranty to August 2025
