Description: Thrifting find. Set of four Tepco restaurant ware 9" plates. Circa 1940s or 1950s, made in California. Thick and heavy off-white vitrified china, with wide green band rims. The dishes have been well used and have lots of scratches and swirls as can be seen when held to the light just right. There are also a few dark specks in the glaze on one plate, front and back, as shown. I could find no chips or cracks, just the usual stilt marks on the backs from the glazing and firing process. TEPCO USA CHINA backstamp. Please see pictures for details and condition, and let me know if you have any questions. Shipped via USPS Ground Advantage. They're heavy - shipped weight will be 7 pounds. I pack with care and lots of bubble wrap.
