Description: I found this beautiful cape style bed jacket in a Dior satin lingerie bag in my dresser drawer. I had no idea that my Mother tucked it away long ago. I am overjoyed that my Mom owned and wore this extravagant jacket. In the 50's my Mom was petite- a size small/ 4. Even though it is a size medium, it looks like it will fit a size small woman.I hand washed it and hung dry. It has embroidered floral on sheer nylon, shell lace trim and it's fully lined with an opaque nylon. I noticed on the tag under The Snowden Tailleaur, "DUPONT". This garment was made to last! It truly is unique- delicate, yet strong. It doesn't belong in a satin clutch garment bag. It belongs to a woman who appreciates a finely made, feminine, detailed, vintage look.
