Description: Strand Patt 23 vintage theatre spot light with a polished aluminium tripod stand. The iconic Patt 23 was designed by Strand Electric who were founded in 1914 in London’s West End and had their manufacturing works in Covent Garden. The Patt 23 or Baby Fresnel spotlight, was one of the work horses of the theatre industry from the late 50’s to the 1980’s Launched in 1957 they are the companion lantern to the hugely successful Patt 123 Baby Profile spot. Please see the photos as they form an important part of the description this has been polished and works with a normal screw in bulb which will be included. Beautiful addition to any interior. Moved home and having a big clear out of my collections so please check out my other items. This has not been Patt tested and has been used as a personal lamp at home works fine has a switch on the wire. But no electrical guarantee implied. Thanks for looking.
