Description: Vintage Timex ELECTRONIC watch, RARE "Time Zone" model, Excellent Condition! BEAUTIFUL Timex Electronic watch! Cushion-style SS case with bubble crystal. Pretty BLUE dial with unique 1-12 BLACK arabic numbers inlayed on raised SILVER-tone blocks. Includes 2 SILVER-tone lume-filled hands and sweep and a RARE extra RED hand to monitor second time zone.....so called "Time Zone" model. I'm told that this dial is also called a "Telephone dial." Has framed date window at 3 o'clock. This watch is in excellent vintage condition, case in unpolished with crisp edges, crystal is clear. This is a good size watch at close to 40mm. Not sure of the year, maybe 1970's. Runs good, set time well. These ELECTRONICS work great and look good, very unique. Pre-date QUARTZ so a real piece of American watchmaking history. Uses battery size LR44 (Maxell)...remind me to install a new battery FREE before shipped! Includes BLACK leather smooth and stitched band in great shape.
